Stay the night on the water Our sailing ship ‘The Sirion’ is moored in the Oostmahorn yacht-basin. From the boat you will have a splendid view of the Lauwersmeer. The ship is equipped with all modern conveniences, and will accommodate six persons. You can do your own cooking in the galley, but a splendid dinner at the Lauwersmeer pavilion, at a stone’s throw of the yacht-basin, is also one of the possibilities. A motorised dinghy is available, which will take you onto the Lauwersmeer. Moreover, two bicycles are available should you want to explore the environs. Fun for kids Esonstad, a village nearby, offers several activities concerning aquatic sports. There is also a beach for children and a playground.
